Career Summary

Michael Grainger joined GVA Kidder Mathews in August, 2006 and has worked in commercial property management since 1992.  His experience includes a variety of diverse portfolios including office, retail, industrial and multi-use properties.

Prior to joining GVA Kidder Mathews, he worked as a Real Estate Manager for eight years with Louis Dreyfus Property Group, a real estate company based in New York. He was responsible for the oversight of the Washington, D.C. management office that managed over two million square feet of Class “A” office and retail space.  Here he was responsible for the management of the SEC headquarters, a 1,070,000 square foot property, in addition to the FDIC headquarters and several other downtown properties.

Mike was a member of DCBIA (District of Columbia Building Industry Association) and also a board member of the H Street Main Street that was formed by a grant from the city to clean up, improve safety and perform façade/building improvements to the H Street, NE corridor in Washington, D.C.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Washington.
